Epididymitis Treatment Options PDF Print E-mail

Epididymitis is treated with antibiotic medications. In most cases, symptoms improve after a few days of antibiotic use. Your physician may also recommend bed rest to elevate the hips and ice or anti-inflammatory medicines (i.e. ibuprofen) to help relieve any discomfort.

A follow-up visit with your physician will be set to ensure the infection is completely gone following treatment.
