Medical History: Your doctor will ask a series of questions to better understand symptoms, medical history and any underlying conditions that may be causing the condition.

Physical Exam: Your doctor will perform a physical exam to discover any abnormalities that may indicate an underlying condition.

Urine Test (urinalysis): Your doctor may need a small sample of urine to confirm the presence of an infection, bacteria in the urine (bacteriuria).
